Just in case people miss it, the FitP mailing list has been set up. There’s a link to it over in that sidebar to the right, or you can just visit it straight away. In addition to this site, the main purpose of the mailing list will be to send out announcements of upcoming meetings, and for members to confirm attendance.
The list can also be used as a forum for general discussion of any topics relevant to the mandate of the user group. It would be great if new subscribers could send an initial ‘hello’ email to the list, so that others know they’re out there!
So, welcome to Flash in the Peg, Winnipeg’s first Adobe User Group**! Despite the product-specific name, the group will not be focussed just on Adobe Flash. I just thought it made a good name for a user group. Ideally, the group will be composed of a broad range of talented individuals with an interest in more than just Flash. At least that’s the plan right off the start - I want the group to evolve according to the wants and needs of its members, so things may be a little fluid for the first little while.
If you live in or around Winnipeg and are interested in joining the group, please subscribe to the mailing list. Also, let your friends and associates know about Flash in the Peg; the more members we have, the more everybody will get out of the group and the more successful it will be.
